DID Press: Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has warned that Iran will neither reopen the Strait of Hormuz nor return to negotiations until its seven new conditions, conveyed through mediators, are accepted and implemented.

Rezaei stressed that Iran would no longer rely on agreements based on the other side’s political goodwill, saying the implementation of commitments was a prerequisite for any negotiations or agreement.
The Iranian security official also said the continuation of diplomatic efforts and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz depended on Washington’s compliance with its commitments.
