Pakistan Approves Military and Defence Cooperation Agreement with Kuwait

DID Press: Pakistan’s government has approved a military and defence cooperation agreement with Kuwait, covering military training, joint exercises and the exchange of defence expertise between the two countries.

The agreement was approved at a government meeting chaired by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

It provides a framework for cooperation between the two countries in military training, joint exercises and the exchange of experience.

Under an additional protocol signed in August 2025, Pakistan’s armed forces will also assist the Kuwaiti military with training, capacity-building, border management and other mutually agreed defence-related areas.
