Interim Government Must be established if Reform Demands Not Met by ARG

The meeting was held in Mazar-e Sharif on Sunday hosted by Ata M. Noor.
The statement emphasized on corrective action brokered by Ata M. Noor and considered his standing against ARG palace all inclusive.

If the presidential palace and the ruling team do not take into accounts the reform demands and civil movements, there should inevitably be a short period of transitional government, the statement said.
In this regard, the 8 article of the statement said: “if the demands of popular and civil efforts for reform such as (electoral reforms and amendment of the constitution) did not meet, an interim administration should be established.”

Resolving the distribution of e-IDs in accordance with the previous approved law, implementing the full agreement that formed the NUG until 1397 (solar year), creating a major national consensus beyond (Etelaf-e Nejat), restarting talks between ARG and Jamiat party, ending plots against political figures and the return of the first VP, the role of parties in the election and the necessity to reform the electoral system were among the important issues in the declaration.

The statement also stressed that mass civil demonstration will temporarily be postponed due to “Kabul process” and the arrival of Nawruz (New Year) celebration ceremony.

The political elites declared their support from the civil movements and inclusive protests of Ata M. Noor against ARG palace.
On Sunday, Ata M. Noor hosted the political figures, social elites, and civil activists at “National Consultative Discourse with elites.”
