Rahim Dad, 13, is the son of Barakat Sufi who was the resident of Jawzjan’s Darzab district.
According to reports, Daesh terror group had kept him in detention for a month before executing him.
“Daesh beheaded the child on Monday at 2:00 pm (local time) for having communication with local police officers,” said provincial spokesperson Mohammad Reza.
This comes as regional countries express concerns over Daesh terror group gaining ground in northern Afghanistan.
