34 Killed, 94 Wounded in Gardez Mosque Suicide Attack: Police

“two suicide bombers attacked Friday afternoon Khaja Hussain Mosque in Gardez city about 01:30 am (local time),” said Paktia Police Chief General Raz Mohammad Manduzi.
According to him, the suicide attack took place in Khaja Hasan when the people gathered to perform Friday prayer.
“two suicide attackers entered the mosque and opened fire on the people, then, detonated their explosives,” the police chief added.
Paktia police chief confirmed that at least 34 were killed and 94 more wounded during the incident.
He further said that 14 people were transferred to capital Kabul as they were in critical conditions.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, and Taliban group claimed they were not behind the attacks.
However, Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terror group claims such a terrorist event.
