World Countries’ Borders Become Cemetery of Afghan Youths – says Minister

Speaking at the commemoration ceremony of the International Day of countering Human Trafficking in Kabul, the Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi said: human trafficking creates an incident every day.

“one of the heavy consequences of human trafficking in Afghanistan is brain drain which takes the lives of our educated youths,” Mr Balkhi said. “the borders of most world countries have turned to a cemetery for our youths. We should use from migration opportunities,” he added.

The Minister of Refugees and Repatriation further said that the ministry has created an information center, so that migrants can get information about the immigration laws of the countries and legally travel abroad based on their necessities.
“Immigration must be legalized so that our country can benefit from economic, scientific and experimental opportunities,” Mr Balkhi stressed.

“Without the cooperation of youths, scholars, and families, combating human trafficking will not be fruitful,” said Sayed Kamal Sadat, the deputy youth of the Ministry of Information and Culture.
Mr Sadat called on the Ulema and youths to seriously fight against human trafficking through social networks; in order to, save our educated youths from smugglers.
“Economic problems and unemployment have made the fight against human trafficking fruitless,” said Ahmad Noor Waqif, an adviser to the executive directorate of the government.

According to some global statistics, human traffickers earn $ 40 billion annually.
