ARG Asked me Not to Attend TAPI Inauguration – says Usmani

The Afghan minister of energy and water Ali Ahmad Usmani said the presidential palace (ARG) asked him not to participate in Herat’s TAPI project inauguration.



The Afghan minister of energy and water Ali Ahmad Usmani said the presidential palace (ARG) asked him not to participate in Herat’s TAPI project inauguration.
“Seven people from the department of energy and water in many groups were scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of TAPI project, they went but the presidency asked me not to go to Herat,” said Ali Ahmad Usmani.

Sources close to the president say all cabinet ministers, including Mr. Usmani, were invited to the ground-breaking ceremony of TAPI project. But Mr. Usmani said, he has been told by the presidential office that he cannot attend the opening ceremony.

“The presidency did not explain why I must not participate in the ceremony,” the minister of energy and water underlined.
Although the differences between the top officials of the NUG, are not an unfamiliar and strange issue and for the people of the country, the differences between the minister of energy and water and ARG has been leaked to the media.
