An explosion targeted a commando forces base in Kabul seventh police district on Thursday morning, officials confirmed.

An explosion targeted a commando forces base in Kabul seventh police district on Thursday morning, officials confirmed.

A blast took place around 12:50 pm in front of commando forces base in Rishkhor area of Kabul PD-7, said Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry.

Rahimi, however, did not give further details about the incident.
