Failed Attack on VP Saleh

First VP Amrullah Saleh’s convoy was targeted by a terrorist attack early Wednesday morning, but Mr Saleh survived.

According to reports, Amrullah Saleh’s convoy targeted by a IED blast at around 7:35 am (local time) in PD-4 of capital Kabul city.

The Ministry of Public Health says two dead bodies and seven wounded have been taken to the hospitals from today’s blast in Kabul. However, the casualties may rise.

According to reports, the bodyguards of the Mr Saleh are among the wounded people, but VP Saleh could escape the attack.
No group has yet claimed responsibility.
