Security Sector Discusses Replacing Provincial Security Officials

The meeting reviewed the security status of Kabul, Helmand, Uruzgan, Kunduz, Farah, Baghlan, Faryab, Sar-e Pul and Jawzjan provinces.
The ministers of security and defense sectors praised the country’s security and defense forces’ works and demanded more efforts for better security.

During the security briefing, the Kabul Garrison General Commander talked about the progress of the Kabul Security Plan, saying further coordination will take place among security organs at strategic, operational and tactical levels in the near future.
How to control the situation and bring back security to insecure provinces were issues discussed during the meeting.
Meanwhile, the security council called on the people to cooperate in this regard.

The other issues discussed were replacing Kabul security officials and other provinces.
Kabul has witnessed suicide bombings in different parts of the city even after the security institutions offered Kabul security plan.
