The Stance of Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan regarding Moscow Consultative meeting

Did Press: Following Moscow format of consultative meeting in Russia, the Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan says in a statement that this council will back up any action aimed at determining the political destiny of the Afghan people

On November 16, Russia hosted the fourth meeting of the Moscow Format of Consultations on Afghanistan with representatives of the neighboring countries – India, UAE, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey and some other countries – in attendance.

The participants emphasised the importance of creating a truly inclusive government in Afghanistan, which would reflect the interests of the key ethno-political groups and the need to remove the terrorist, drug and other threats emanating from Afghanistan.
“the Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan, believing in the principle of interconnectedness of today’s world and the rapid and cross-border effects of developments, has always emphasized the coordination, joint cooperation, and the decisive role of the international community in dealing with the challenges facing a member of the international community … ,” the National Council said in its statement.

“The Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan supports every occasion and step that emphasizes the restoration of the sovereignty of the Afghan people over their political destiny and respect for their fundamental and human rights, and will follow up and evaluate the Moscow format consultative meeting based on the same principle,” added the statement.
