We Won’t Give Command of Peace to Foreigners: President Ghani

During the meeting with elders in southern Paktika province on Saturday, President M. Ashraf Ghani called on the Taliban to be ready for talks with the government.
Heading a high-level delegation to Paktika province, President Ashraf Ghani inaugurated the newly constructed building for the governor’s office.

Once again, president Ghani emphasized Afghan-owned and Afghan-led negotiations.
“we will not give command of peace to foreigners,” president Ghani said.

President Ghani said the ground for peace has been politically provided and the Islamic world as well as the regional countries support peace in Afghanistan.
