2 Taliban members Killed in Clashes with Unknown Armed men in Nangarhar
Three people, including two Taliban members were killed by unknown armed men in Jalalabad city of eastern Nangarhar province on Wednesday September 22. Taliban, however, say all the victims are civilians.
Unknown armed men killed three people in 7th district of Jalalabad, the capital city of Nangarhar province.
According to eyewitnesses, two Taliban members and one civilian were killed during the armed attack. Taliban officials confirmed the incident, but say all the victims are civilians.
No group has immediately claimed responsibility.
Nangarhar province on Saturday and Sunday witnessed several bomb attacks, too. According to reports, IS-K targeted the Taliban’s convoy in Jalalabad city.
At least 8 people were killed and over 20 more were wounded as a result of these explosions.
