DID Press: China’s Ministry of National Defense has announced that Dong Jun, will travel to Russia and Kyrgyzstan from April 23 to 28, following official invitations from the host countries.
According to the statement, Dong Jun will also participate in a meeting of defense chiefs from member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, which is scheduled to take place in Bishkek.
During the visit, the Chinese defence minister is expected to hold bilateral meetings with defence delegations from SCO member states and exchange views on the international and regional security situation, as well as prospects for defence and security cooperation.
