DID Press: Four athletes from Afghanistan are participating in the disciplines of ju-jitsu and beach wrestling at the ongoing Asian Beach Games in Sanya, accompanied by two coaches.

According to reports, two athletes are competing in ju-jitsu alongside one coach, while two others are representing Afghanistan in beach wrestling with another coach. The event brings together competitors from more than 40 countries, offering a significant platform for Afghan athletes to showcase their capabilities at the continental level.
The sixth edition of the Asian Beach Games is being held from April 22 to May 1, 2026, in Sanya, China.
In addition, Hafizullah Wali Rahimi, President of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee, and Mohammad Younus Popalzi, Secretary General of the committee, are also attending the event upon invitation from the International Olympic Committee.
