Pakistan Expresses Hope for Lasting Iran–US Peace, Says Shehbaz Sharif

DID Press: Shehbaz Sharif has expressed optimism that ongoing talks between Iran and the United States could lead to a durable agreement and improved regional stability.

Referring to recent diplomatic developments between Tehran and Washington, Sharif said Pakistan views the continuation of negotiations as an important step toward reducing tensions and strengthening peace in the region.

He emphasized that Islamabad will continue to support diplomatic efforts and hopes both sides can reach a comprehensive and sustainable understanding through dialogue.

The Pakistani prime minister also underlined the importance of diplomacy in preventing escalation and resolving international crises, adding that Pakistan stands ready to assist in facilitating constructive engagement between the parties.
