Houthi Leader: Insulting Quran and Gaza Killings Are Part of US–Israel Project
DID Press: Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has warned that alleged organized insults to the Quran, the war in Gaza, and pressure on resistance groups reflect a joint US–Israeli strategy against the Islamic world.

In a speech marking the beginning of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah, al-Houthi said the Muslim world is in greater need than ever of strengthening its spiritual foundations and criticized what he described as efforts to empty Islamic rituals of their meaning.
A significant portion of his remarks focused on repeated incidents of Quran desecration in the United States and Western countries, which he said are part of a coordinated project. He also criticized the justification of such acts under the concept of “freedom of expression.”
Al-Houthi further addressed developments in Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing Israeli actions as part of a broader effort to eliminate the Palestinian cause. He also condemned pressure by some Arab states on Palestinian factions to disarm.
He reaffirmed Yemen’s continued political and military support for Palestine and warned of what he described as a new phase of regional escalation involving the United States and Israel.
