DID Press: Pakistan’s army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has declared that the country’s armed forces will firmly confront terrorism and what he described as “propaganda warfare” aimed at undermining national stability and development.

During a visit to Quetta in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, Munir said attempts to disrupt the country’s progress through proxy warfare and information operations would ultimately fail.
He stated that certain groups are seeking to weaken Pakistan’s security environment and obstruct economic and social development, but insisted that such efforts would not succeed.
The army chief emphasized that Pakistan’s military remains fully committed to counterterrorism operations and will not allow militant activity or the spread of disinformation to destabilize the country.
Munir further stressed that the armed forces would continue their mission to ensure national security and eliminate terrorist threats, vowing resistance against any actions aimed at creating instability.
