International Warnings as Afghan Deportations from Pakistan Intensify
DID Press: International organizations have renewed warnings over the worsening situation of returning migrants to Afghanistan, as Pakistan deported more than 4,000 Afghan nationals in a single day.

The Taliban-run High Commission for Migrants said that on Sunday, 3 Jawza, a total of 4,237 Afghan migrants were expelled from Pakistan and entered Afghanistan through border crossings in Torkham Border Crossing in Nangarhar Province and Spin Boldak in Kandahar Province.
According to official data, the forced return of Afghan nationals from Pakistan continues daily, with hundreds to thousands crossing back into the country amid ongoing deportation policies targeting undocumented or temporary residents.
Pakistani authorities have previously stated that foreign nationals without valid documentation must leave the country.
Separately, the Taliban commission reported the deportation of 355 Afghan migrants from Iran, who returned through Islam Qala Border Crossing in Herat Province and the Silk Bridge crossing in Nimroz Province.
The continued mass expulsions come amid rising tensions between Taliban authorities and Pakistan in recent months, further intensifying regional concern over humanitarian pressures in Afghanistan.
