DID Press: Multiple Iranian ballistic missiles were launched toward Israel early Monday, targeting areas including Haifa, Tel Aviv, and northern regions, triggering widespread air-raid sirens and reported explosions across the country.

According to Israeli and regional media reports, warning systems were activated in more than 180 locations, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and surrounding areas. Hebrew-language outlets reported explosions in Tel Aviv and missile impacts in Kiryat Ata and areas near Haifa.
Iranian military sources stated that four ballistic missiles were launched toward Haifa and two toward central Israel. Iranian media further claimed that one of the primary targets was the energy infrastructure in Haifa. Separate reports also indicated explosions in the occupied Golan Heights following missile impacts.
Israel’s Home Front Command issued early warnings across northern and central regions as missile trajectories were detected. Initial estimates suggested that approximately 5.75 million people were forced to take shelter during the alert period. Operations at Ben Gurion Airport were also suspended until further notice.
Emergency response teams were reportedly deployed to impacted areas in the Kiryat region, where one of the missiles is said to have struck a sensitive site.
An IRGC spokesperson stated that the attack demonstrated that “the skies over the occupied territories and the region are under the control and capability of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ aerospace power.”
