India Calls Pakistan Airstrikes in Afghanistan “Mass Killing Under Military Cover”
DID Press: India has strongly condemned Pakistan’s air operations inside Afghanistan, describing them as “mass killing under the cover of military action.”

At a UNSC meeting, Indian Permanent Representative Parvathaneni Harish said reports from the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan indicate 372 civilians were killed and 397 injured in Pakistani airstrikes, many during Ramadan.
He said no law or moral principle can justify such actions and accused Pakistan of hypocrisy over claims of adherence to international norms. Harish also criticized Pakistan’s trade restrictions on Afghanistan, calling them “trade and transit terrorism,” while highlighting India’s support through visa facilitation and duty-free access for Afghan goods.
