India Reaffirms Commitment to Afghanistan’s Development and Education

DID Press: Randhir Jaiswal has reaffirmed India’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan, saying development and education remain key priorities in New Delhi’s engagement with the Afghan people.

Speaking on India’s policy toward Afghanistan, Jaiswal said New Delhi’s approach remains unchanged and that India will continue providing assistance aimed at improving the well-being of the Afghan population.

He noted that India’s support extends beyond humanitarian aid and includes initiatives in food security, healthcare, and medical assistance, as well as educational programs and scholarship opportunities for Afghan citizens.

According to the Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, these efforts are intended to contribute to peace, stability, and long-term development in Afghanistan.

India has remained involved in a range of humanitarian and development initiatives for Afghanistan, emphasizing support for the Afghan people while maintaining its broader commitment to regional stability and economic progress.
