Mujahid Denies Reports of Pakistani Ground Incursion into Afghanistan

DID Press: Taliban administration has rejected reports claiming that Pakistan carried out a ground offensive inside Afghan territory, saying border forces remain fully prepared and that Kabul prefers resolving tensions through dialogue.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated in an interview with a local media outlet that border units are deployed along all frontiers with full vigilance and continue to closely monitor the situation.

He emphasized that the administration seeks to manage tensions through dialogue and rational solutions, adding that Kabul does not want the situation to escalate in a way that could spiral out of control between the two countries.

Mujahid further said that Afghanistan remains committed to defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity while avoiding any actions that could harm civilians. He also reiterated that the Taliban view war as an unacceptable solution to ongoing disputes.
