DID Press: Saudi Arabia has reportedly conditioned the resumption of talks on joining the Abraham Accords on the removal of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the reversal of recent Israeli policies in the occupied West Bank, according to Israel Hayom.

The Israeli newspaper claimed that Riyadh has introduced new conditions for restarting negotiations on normalization with Israel, including changes in Israel’s political leadership and the cancellation of recent decisions by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich regarding the West Bank.
The report comes as Saudi-Israeli normalization efforts have remained suspended since the beginning of the Gaza war. Saudi officials have not yet officially commented on the claims.
