Afghanistan, Russia and Kazakhstan Sign $446.6M Trade Agreements
DID Press: Companies from Afghanistan, Russia’s Dagestan and Tyumen regions, and Kazakhstan have signed trade and investment agreements worth 446.6 million Afghanis to expand economic cooperation during business-to-business (B2B) meetings hosted by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment.

According to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, the agreements cover various sectors, including construction materials, pharmaceutical products, food industries and agricultural services. The deals aim to strengthen regional trade, expand economic partnerships and attract investment among the participating parties.
Officials from the chamber said the B2B meetings play an important role in improving private-sector connections between regional countries, increasing trade exchanges and creating new opportunities for joint investment projects.
The chamber added that expanding economic cooperation with regional partners, particularly Russia, Dagestan and Kazakhstan, could help increase Afghanistan’s exports, facilitate the transfer of experience and strengthen the country’s engagement with regional markets.
