DID Press: European gas prices have climbed to their highest level in four months as escalating military tensions between the United States and Iran fuel concerns over energy security and potential supply disruptions ahead of the winter heating season, according to a report by The Guardian.

The British newspaper reported that the latest developments in the Middle East have triggered sharp volatility across European energy markets, with investors increasingly concerned about the risk of supply shortages if regional instability persists.
According to the report, fears of a gas supply crisis during the coming winter have pushed natural gas prices to their highest level since March, reflecting growing uncertainty over Europe’s ability to replenish strategic reserves before colder weather sets in.
The Guardian said European countries are facing mounting economic and logistical challenges as they race to secure sufficient gas storage for the winter, amid tightening global energy markets and increased competition for liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies.
Energy analysts cited by various industry sources warned that continued instability along key regional energy transit routes, combined with ongoing geopolitical tensions, could further disrupt gas supplies and place additional pressure on European energy markets in the months ahead.
