Taliban Launches Online Tracking System for Afghan ID Card Requests Abroad

DID Press: Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched an online system to issue correspondence tracking numbers for Afghan identity card (Tazkira) services, aiming to simplify procedures for citizens living outside Afghanistan.

The ministry said the new digital platform was designed to speed up processes related to the issuance, replacement, verification and correction of Tazkira documents through Afghan diplomatic missions abroad.

According to the announcement, applicants can obtain a correspondence number through the online system and then visit the National Statistics and Information Authority to follow up and complete their applications.

The move is part of efforts by Taliban authorities to expand digital services for Afghans abroad and streamline administrative procedures related to identity documents.
