Afghanistan Becomes Kazakhstan’s Largest Flour Export Market
DID Press: Afghanistan has emerged as Kazakhstan’s largest export market for flour, with new data showing a significant increase in Kazakhstan’s flour exports during the 2025–26 marketing year.

According to The Times of Central Asia, Kazakhstan exported around 1.87 million tonnes of wheat flour during the first 10 months of the 2025–26 period, marking an 18.3 percent increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
Afghanistan, the largest buyer of Kazakh flour, accounted for a substantial share of these exports and played a key role in driving the overall increase.
The figures underscore the growing importance of Afghanistan as a major destination for Kazakhstan’s agricultural exports and highlight expanding trade ties between the two countries.
