Iranian Firms to Showcase Products at Kabul Agriculture Expo

DID Press: A total of 52 Iranian companies are expected to participate in the Afghanistan International Agriculture Expo in Kabul, an event aimed at expanding trade and agricultural cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan.

Taliban Agriculture Minister Ataullah Omari discussed the upcoming exhibition and the participation of Iranian companies during a meeting with Alireza Bikdeli, Iran’s ambassador to Afghanistan.

Omari emphasized the importance of expanding agricultural and trade cooperation between the two countries, saying Afghanistan has significant potential to produce a wide range of agricultural and organic products. He said efforts are underway to promote Afghan products in regional and international markets through such exhibitions.

Bikdeli said 32 Iranian companies will participate with exhibition booths, while another 20 companies will attend without booths.

The Afghanistan International Agriculture Expo is scheduled to take place in Kabul from August 11 to August 16.
