Afghanistan Hosts First International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition in Kabul

DID Press: Kabul is hosting the country’s first international agriculture and livestock exhibition, a five-day event bringing together Taliban officials and domestic and foreign companies from Iran, Uzbekistan, Türkiye and India.

The exhibition aims to showcase Afghanistan’s agricultural potential, promote Afghan products, attract investment and facilitate the signing of cooperation agreements.

Officials at the opening ceremony emphasized the need for greater investment in agriculture and its role in supporting Afghanistan’s economic development.

Around 500 companies are displaying their products at the event.
