Afghan Post Delegation Travels to Thailand for Asian Postal Congress
DID Press: A three-member delegation from Afghan Post, led by the company’s executive head, Mawlawi Rahmatullah Maki, has traveled to Bangkok to attend the 14th Congress of the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) and the General Assembly of postal executives.

The gathering will be held from August 31 to September 4, bringing together representatives of postal administrations from 32 APPU member countries, along with several international organizations.
Participants include representatives from the Universal Postal Union (UPU), the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The main agenda includes developing and standardizing postal services, strengthening international cooperation, exchanging technical expertise, and improving coordination in postal and customs affairs.
