UMass Poll: Americans Increasingly Dissatisfied With Trump’s AI Policies
DID Press: A new poll by the University of Massachusetts Amherst shows growing dissatisfaction among Americans with President Donald Trump’s handling of artificial intelligence.

According to the poll, only 23% of Americans rate Trump’s handling of AI as good, while 57% say he has handled the issue poorly. The share of respondents who disapprove of his performance has increased by 7 percentage points since March.
The findings come as the Trump administration continues to make artificial intelligence a major focus of U.S. technological and strategic policy, emphasizing the need to maintain American leadership over international competitors.
