150 Kilometers of TAPI Route in Herat Ready for Pipeline Laying

Did Press: Hamayoun Afghan, spokesman for the Taliban-run Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, said 150.3 kilometers of the 153-kilometer route of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project in Herat province is ready for the start of pipeline-laying operations.

He said plans for establishing a gas distribution network in Herat are also being developed, with construction work on the network expected to begin in the near future.
