DID Press: Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces affiliated with the Houthi movement, has warned airlines, airport staff, aviation specialists and passengers against using Saudi Arabian airports or airspace, saying the areas could be targeted amid ongoing military operations.
Saree urged airlines and travelers to take the warning seriously and held Saudi Arabia responsible for what he described as unsuccessful interceptions.
The Houthi-aligned armed forces also reiterated their declared policy of “airport for airport,” “blockade for blockade” and “escalation for escalation,” saying they would maintain these measures until their objectives were achieved.
