DID Press: South Korea and United States have issued security warnings to their citizens over escalating attacks on major Saudi airports, urging people to avoid non-essential travel to the kingdom as security concerns mount.

South Korea’s Foreign Ministry raised its travel warning for Saudi Arabia to Level 3 on October 11, recommending that South Korean nationals leave the country unless they have essential reasons to remain. It also advised those planning to visit Saudi Arabia to cancel or postpone their trips.
The US Embassy in Riyadh has also urged American citizens to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia amid the threat of missile and drone attacks. Meanwhile, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has advised American airlines to exercise caution when flying to or over Saudi Arabia because of risks associated with ongoing military activity and possible disruptions to navigation systems.
