Iraq’s PM Visits Sayyida Zainab Shrine and Umayyad Mosque in Syria

DID Press: Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi visited the Sayyida Zainab Shrine and the Umayyad Mosque during his first official trip to Syria.Al-Zaidi said more Iraqi pilgrims would soon be able to visit the shrine.

His media office also announced that he had donated $5 million from his personal funds to the Sayyida Zainab Shrine and another $5 million to the Umayyad Mosque.
