Afghanistan to Launch New Nationwide Polio Vaccination Campaign

DID Press: Afghanistan’s Polio-Free initiative has announced that a new nationwide polio vaccination campaign is scheduled to begin on Monday, 11 Aqrab, across the country.

The organization has urged families to ensure that children under the age of five receive the vaccine, calling on them to play their part in preventing the spread of polio and helping eradicate the disease in Afghanistan.

The campaign is set to begin amid reports of an increase in confirmed polio cases across the country.
