Afghanistan, Iran and Georgia Seek to Activate Poti Port Trade Route

DID Press: The heads of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce and Georgia’s Chamber of Commerce have discussed using the capacity of Georgia’s Poti Port to transport Afghan goods to European markets and expand trade cooperation.

During the meeting, the participants stressed the need to standardise Afghan export products and strengthen cooperation in transit and processing industries.

Georgia’s Chamber of Commerce chief was also invited to visit Afghanistan to explore investment opportunities and potential areas of economic cooperation.
