All Suspects in Louvre Royal Jewelry Heist Arrested
DID Press: Paris authorities confirmed the arrest of fourth member of the gang responsible for the daring theft of royal jewelry from the Louvre Museum, marking the capture of all suspects involved.

The 39-year-old suspect, with six prior convictions, faces charges of organized theft and criminal conspiracy, which carry a potential sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
The four-person gang stole historic pieces including a diamond-and-emerald necklace belonging to Empress Marie-Louise, jewelry linked to 19th-century queens, and Empress Eugénie’s pearl-and-diamond crown. Only one piece, a crown adorned with over 1,300 diamonds, has been recovered so far.
Investigations indicate two gang members entered the Apollo Gallery, breaking the display cases with a power tool, while the other two waited outside on motorcycles for the escape. The thieves used a freight elevator to reach the upper levels of the museum before executing the heist.
The swift robbery, completed in under eight minutes, has renewed scrutiny of security measures at one of the world’s most visited museums.
