Afghans Top Business Travel to Uzbekistan in 2025

DID Press: Afghan nationals made the highest number of business trips to Uzbekistan in the first ten months of 2025, according to Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Agency.

The data show that travel by Afghan traders to Uzbekistan increased significantly compared with other countries, reflecting expanding economic ties and growing commercial interaction between the two neighbors.

Officials said Afghanistan’s geographic position and regional market demand have played a key role in boosting the presence of Afghan businesspeople in Uzbekistan.

With the current trend expected to continue, bilateral trade volumes between the two countries are likely to see further growth in the near future.
