Afghanistan’s UN Mission Condemns Pakistan Airstrikes as Breach of Int’l Law
DID Press: Afghanistan’s Permanent Mission to UN condemned Pakistan’s airstrikes on Nangarhar Province and Paktika Province, calling them a violation of international law and Afghanistan’s territorial integrity.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Feb. 22, the mission said counterterrorism efforts must be principled, coordinated, and conducted in line with international law, stressing that any incursion into Afghan territory is unacceptable.
The mission noted that Afghans have endured decades of terrorism, war, and instability, and urged an immediate halt to such attacks, particularly during the month of Ramadan.
The statement said the move aims to rally international support and underscore respect for international legal norms.
