China Envoy: Taliban Pledge Probe Into Attacks on Chinese Nationals
DID Press: Yue Xiaoyong said senior officials of the Taliban have pledged to investigate recent terrorist attacks targeting Chinese citizens and interests in Afghanistan.

According to the envoy, the commitment was made during two days of meetings in Kabul with Afghan officials, where discussions also focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, security coordination, and regional development.
The talks included meetings with Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting foreign minister, and Nuruddin Azizi, acting minister of industry and commerce.
Both sides exchanged views on expanding friendly cooperation between China and Afghanistan and emphasized their shared interest in promoting peace, security, and economic development across the region.
Yue added that Afghan authorities expressed readiness to intensify efforts to investigate recent attacks and enhance protection for Chinese citizens working in the country.
