DID Press: Ministry of Finance of Israel has estimated that the initial cost of its military operations against Iran stands at approximately $11.5 billion.

According to Hebrew media reports, this figure includes direct military expenses such as the use of air defense systems, missile launches, air operations, troop mobilization, and logistical support costs.
A significant portion of the spending is attributed to the extensive use of missile interception systems in response to Iranian attacks, as well as the redeployment and mobilization of military units across multiple fronts.
Economic sources in Israel have warned that the continuation of the war could place severe pressure on the national budget and increase the need for emergency funding allocations.
Economists also note that indirect costs—such as reduced economic activity, declining tourism, and rising internal security expenses—could push the total cost significantly higher than the initial $11.5 billion estimate.
