DID Press: Lebanese media report that Israel has continued to violate a 10-day ceasefire agreement, just five days after it was announced, with renewed strikes and rising tensions in southern Lebanon.

According to these reports, the Israeli military has repeatedly targeted areas in southern Lebanon in recent days, including an airstrike on the Sheikh Ragheb Harb Mosque in the town of Jibchit, which local sources say caused significant damage. Lebanese media also reported the destruction of the Abu Dhar shrine and the Martyrs’ Cemetery in the village of Rafah.
In another incident, the building of the “Martyrs Technical and Vocational School” in the town of Khiam was reportedly destroyed in an explosion.
In response, Hezbollah announced that it had, for the first time since the ceasefire began, targeted areas in northern Israel. The group also claimed that Israel had committed more than 200 violations of the ceasefire over the past four days.
Reports indicate that the scale of strikes and retaliatory actions has raised concerns over the fragility of the ceasefire and the risk of further escalation.
