Online Platform Reaches 35,000 Afghan Girls Amid Education Restrictions

DID Press: An online learning platform, SOLAx, has expanded access to education for Afghan girls, enrolling more than 35,000 students as school restrictions persist.

With secondary schools still closed to girls in Afghanistan, the platform said it has introduced free science courses for 10th and 11th grades to address growing educational gaps.

Program organizers stated their primary goal is to ensure equal access to learning, particularly for girls who remain excluded from formal schooling. They noted that strong participation reflects a continued demand for education among young people.

According to provided data, over 35,000 students have registered on the platform, highlighting what organizers describe as a significant education gap and an urgent need for alternative solutions.

The initiative offers video lessons, exercises, and supplementary materials, aiming to help students—especially girls—continue their studies despite ongoing challenges
