Venezuela Earthquake Death Toll Rises to 2,954
DID Press: Venezuela’s Ministry of Communications and Information has confirmed that the death toll from the devastating earthquake that struck on June 24 has risen to 2,954.

According to the ministry, 16,592 people have been injured, 16,309 have been left homeless, 190 buildings have been completely destroyed, and 856 others have suffered severe damage.
The report also stated that rescue teams have saved 6,462 people during ongoing search-and-rescue operations. A total of 22,445 individuals are receiving treatment in hospitals and medical centers.
Authorities said humanitarian assistance has reached 86,794 families, while 9,486 tons of food have been distributed among affected communities.
The earthquake, which struck Venezuela on June 24, caused widespread human and material losses across multiple regions of the country.
