Kankor 2026–27 Toppers Shine Across Afghanistan
DID Press: Preliminary results of Afghanistan’s 2026–2027 Kankor national university entrance examination show that students from several provinces, including Parwan, Ghor, Badakhshan, Paktia, Maidan Wardak, and Ghazni, secured top rankings, highlighting the country’s broad academic talent.

According to local reports, the preliminary Kankor results have been released, with top-performing candidates representing a diverse range of provinces across Afghanistan.
The highest overall score was achieved by Rashid from Parwan province, who earned a perfect score of 360 to claim first place nationwide.
Among the other leading candidates are Abdul Hamid from Ghor and students from Badakhshan, Paktia, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, and Herat, reflecting the geographical diversity of high-achieving students.
The Kankor examination remains Afghanistan’s most important higher education entrance test, determining admission for thousands of applicants to universities each year.
Officials and education observers say this year’s results demonstrate a highly competitive examination, with outstanding performances recorded by students from across the country.
