Abu Obeida: October 7 Operation Broke Israel’s Deterrence

DID Press: Abu Obeida, the military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, said in a message marking the anniversary of the October 7 operation that the operation was a turning point in breaking what he described as the “Israeli deterrence system” and stressed the continuation of resistance.

Praising the resistance in Gaza, Abu Obeida said the steadfastness of the Gaza Strip had demonstrated that Palestine had played a role in changing the balance of power in the region, adding that the sacrifices of the people of Gaza would remain in the history of these developments.

He also called on Islamic countries to increase their support for Palestine, stressing that recent developments had shown that the opening of several fronts in the region could increase military pressure on Israel.

The military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, referring to attacks and developments in the region, also stressed the need to support Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that supporters of Palestine, particularly those who had lost their lives on this path, would not be forgotten.

In another part of his remarks, Abu Obeida spoke about the role of regional fronts in the ongoing conflicts and stressed the need to increase support for Palestine.
