Afghan 209 Shahin Corps Marks Soldiers’ Day

Hoot the 9th (28 February), the day of supporting Afghan national defense and security forces (NDSF) was commemorated Thursday at 209 Shahin corps in northern Balkh province, attended by civilian and military officials.

Mohammad Ishaq Rahgozar, Governor of Balkh, General Wali Ahmadzai, commander of the 209 corps, local authorities and military officials participated at the ceremony.
“I pray for the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for Afghanistan and demand a quick recovery for those injured, and I am grateful for the support of the people,” said Gen. Wali M. Ahmadzai, the commander of 209 Shahin corps, congratulating soldiers’ day.

M. Ishaq Rahgozar, who also attended the commemoration ceremony said: “I, on behalf of the people of Balkh, appreciate the 24-hour efforts of the brave soldiers and defenders of the country. There is no doubt that you, the true heroes of the people, defended and will defend your homeland with your blood and soul”.
Hoot the 9th is the day of supporting ANDSF.
