The chief executive of Jamiat-e Islami party Ata M. Noor has severely reacted against recent replacements by the government, saying that these measures have no legal justification and are illegitimate, contrary to political morale and electoral campaigns.
“While the government’s tenure is illegal and illegitimate after May 22, recent replacements of ministers and ambassadors by the government not only have legal justification, but also are illegitimate, against the political ethics and contrary to electoral campaign morale,” Ata M. Noor, the chief executive of Jamait-e Islami party and a prominent political figure wrote in response to recent reshuffles by the government.

“As a presidential candidate, Ashraf Ghani does not avoid the exercise of his beyond jurisdiction acts, which has become a weapon against other candidates,” Mr Noor added. Stressing that “it is expected from MPs to say no to the government’s illegal acts after May 22 by rejecting nominated ministers.”
“We also expect from the hosted countries of the eight new ambassadors to not issue agreements of these ambassadors, respecting the majority will of the Afghan people,”

US ambassador to Afghanistan has also recently said during an interview with a private media outlet that recent replacements by Ashraf Ghani is questionable.
